Deborah Ita Worthington passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at the age of 65. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday in Brown, Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Darrel Auvenshine officiating. Interment: Deborah will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Deborah was born Aug. 19, 1947, in Port Arthur to Harley and Lena Worthington. Deborah retired from Vought Aircraft after 23 years of dedicated service. Deborah always took great pride in her work and loved to help people. She had a great sense of humor and cherished the little things in life. She loved working in her yard, loved her animals and was a joy to be around. Deborah loved life to the fullest everyday with family and friends. She was a remarkable woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Lena Worthington; and sister, Donna Ann Worthington. Survivors: Brother, Michael Raymond Worthington and wife, Helen; brother, David Harley Worthington and wife, Carolyn; sister, Stephanie Flores; brother, Leslie James Worthington and wife, Paula; brother, Jeffery John Worthington and wife, Nancy; very dear friend, Carolee Presley; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and her beloved furry friends, Max, Amos and Joey.
