LOUISIANA - Goldie Virginia Burbridge, 85, of Louisiana, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2002, at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Burbridge was born Nov. 15, 1916, in Pleasant Hill, Ill., to Rube and Lena Emerick Campbell.She was married to Alloys Jerome Burbridge in 1932. He died March 4, 2000. Survivors include one son, Douglas J. Burbridge of Cabot, Ark.; one daughter, Joan V. Meyer of Bloomington, Ind.; four grandchildren, Michelle Meyer of Milwaukee, Wis., Richard Burbridge and Jeffrey J. Burbridge, both of Cabot, Ark., and Kelly M. Penn of Ward, Ark.; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn and Laura; and one brother, Clarence Campbell. Mrs. Burbridge was a member of the Methodist Church.
