STOKES, Elizabeth Margaree, 91, passed away peacefully and pain free Oct. 30, 2012. Born Feb. 3, 1921 in Batesburg, SC, to the late Loreeta and Roland Howard she spent most of her life in Tampa and Dunnellon. Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry Lewis Stokes. Surviving are her daughter, Charlotte (WL); sons, Jim (Bobbie Ann) and Gene; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, David Howard & Floyd Howard. During her lifetime Margaree worked as a bookkeeper and church secretary/treasurer as well as a fulltime wife and mother. She also did volunteer work serving in many roles in her church and then later in life found ways to serve in other organizations. Margaree will be remembered as a woman who lived life her way taking her down many different roads. A graveside service for family will take place on Friday, Nov. 2nd, 12:30 pm at Garden of Memories in Tampa.
