A. R. Roudebush, former Carroll county Recorder and Ruth E. Lewis of Pittsburgh, were married Saturday morning, July 27, in the First Presbyterian Church at Pittsburgh. Rev. James H. Blackstone performed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Roudebush will make their home in Carrollton.

Word has been received here of the death of A. R. Roudebush, life long resident of Carrollton, which occurred Wednesday at the home of his son Harold Roudebush of Grand Rapids, Ohio. Mr. Roudebush was born in Fox Township, 91 years ago, the son of Jesse and Jane Roudebush. He moved to Carrollton when a young man of twenty years and started in the Grocery business which he followed for many years. He served as Carroll County Recorder for 12 years following his retirement from the grocery business. In later years Mr. Roudebush became interested in real estate business and continued in that work until his health forced him to retire. Two years ago he moved to the home of his son where he died.
Survivors include another son, Lester and one sister, Mrs. Florence George of Carrollton. Mr. Frank Roudebush of Carrollton is a nephew. The body was brought to the Sweeney Funeral Home Wednesday where friends may call Thursday. Services will be Conducted Friday from the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Walter Rockenstein officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
