Knickerbocker News - Albany NY - Tuesday Nov 30, 1943

The deaths of three Army officers, one non-commissioned officer and four aviation cadets in the crash of their twin-engined training lane eight miles south of Sabinal, Tex., was announced today by Army officials.

Searching parties from Hondo Army Airfield at Hondo, Texas, home base of the fliers, located the wreckage of the plane which had been missing since 1:37 am last Saturday.

The dead included aviation cadet Edward A. Mallroy, 21, Buffalo.
