Clarence A. (Dick) Looney, 79, Cascade Trailer Court No. 31, died Wednesday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He was born November 17, 1897 at Rogersville, Tennessee. He came to the Kittitas Valley in 1910. He worked in the agricultural operations of the Smithson and Kern families until retirement several years ago. He and Zusha Lenske were married in Ellensburg, January 14, 1966.
Survivors in addition to his wife include one brother, Max Looney of Wenatchee and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Godbey and Mrs. Eva McEwen both of Ellensburg.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Evenson Chapel. The Rev. A. William Dietz will officiate and burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
