SR MASTER SGT EDDIE GARRITY served his country well. He was a family man, a loyal friend and loved by all who knew him.

OBITUARY
Retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, Edward Paul Garrity, 65, battled heart disease since December of 2011 and on October 22, 2012 he gave up his earthly struggles. He was born in Hibbing, MN to the late Edward G. and Lillian Swanson Garrity. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his daughter, Lori and his sister, Maureen Garrity. For more than 25 years he served his country in the United States Air Force and was a life member of AFSA.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife, Jeannie Williamson Garrity; daughter, Christi Everidge and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Alec Monthei, Christopher, Jonathan, Benjamin, Georgia and Thomas Everidge; and seven siblings, John Garrity (Juanita) of Corinth, TX; Geri Thomas of Duluth, MN; Kathy Hutchinson (Wally) of Ennis, MT; Patrick Garrity (Barb), Patrice Vittori, Bill Garrity (Denise), and Terry Garrity (Jane) all of Hibbing, MN.
A service to celebrate his life was held Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11 am at Grace Community Church, 872 Clearfield Ave., Chesapeake. Burial was at a later date in Fort Logan National Cemetery Colorado where his daughter Lori Garrity was buried. Arrangements were entrusted to Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
