Mrs. Felter was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 5, 1909, a daughter of Clarence and Emma (Weiderman) Jones. Her marriage to Mr. Felter took place April 23, 1926, in Sturgis. She had been a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church here.
Surviving besides her husband at home, is a daughter. Also surviving are a brother, Edwin Jones of Sturgis; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Thais) Emerick of Kendallville, Indiana and Mrs. Samuel (Mary Ellen) Waters of near Sturgis, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Last rites will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, at the Foglesong Funeral Home, with the Rev. Herbert Walther, pastor of the St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating. Comittal services will be pronounced at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Saturday morning.
