OBITUARY: Beaver Dam Argus, Thursday, December 1, 1932, page 5.

Mrs. L. D. Livermore, a pioneer resident of this county, passed away in death at her home at 425 N. Lincoln avenue, shortly before two o'clock Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Livermore was 93 years of age and death was due to ailments incident with her advanced age.

Amelia Ann Ellis was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren C. Ellis and was born in Centerville, New York, December 13th, 1839. She came to Beaver Dam in 1854 and on October 29, 1857, was united in marriage with Isaak Leroy Hood. Three children were born to this union, two daughters and a son, all of whom have preceded their mother in death. Mr. Hood died in the Union service at Tallkoma, Tenn., July 26th, 1865.

On July 22nd, 1867, she was married to Lorenzo Dow Livermore in this city, who preceded her in death May 14th, 1906. Two daughters and two sons were born to this union. They are Mrs. Laura D. Frasier of St. Paul; Mrs. Charles D. Espenett of New Brillion, Minn.; Frank J. and Roy Livermore of this city. There are fifteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a brother, Warren G. Ellis of Marina, California, also surviving.
