Jeffrey Alan Maxwell, 58, of Lincoln Street, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at his residence. Jeffrey was born in Ayer, July 23, 1953, a son of the late Robert L. and Ruth Ellen (Joy) Maxwell and was a lifelong resident of Ayer. He was a 1971 graduate of Ayer High School and continued his education at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner. He leaves two brothers, Robert L. Maxwell Jr., of Ayer, David S. Maxwell and his wife, Tina, of Nashua, NH; three nephews, Robert Brooks Maxwell of SC, Kaith David Maxwell of Manchester, NH, Eric Kyle Maxwell of Nashuam NH; a niece, Erin Joy Convery of Nashua, NH. He also leaves seven grandnieces and grandnephews. He also leaves a large number of very close friends. For over twenty years, Jeffrey worked in logistics at Digital Equipment Corporation in Andover. He was an active member of Grace Chapel in Lexington. He was a member of the Mini Cooper Club and had enjoyed camping. He was an avid bicyclist and was a member of the Peddler's Club. Arrangements A funeral service will be held 10 am MONDAY, February 6th at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (Rte 2A) Ayer.
