Mrs. Harry Fowler Dies
Mrs. Harry Fowler, 1028 Market St., a lifetime resident of Emporia died Sunday morning in St. Mary's Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Chapman, pastor of the Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Fowler was the former Edith E. Robinson, daughter of John and Elizabeth McCann Robinson. She was born June 23rd, 1899, and she was married on March 11th, 1916, in Emporia. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Miriam Chapter 14, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband, who died Sept. 12th, 1948, and she is survived by four sons, David, of Admire; Ray, of 728 Rural St.; Earl, of 718 Garfield St., and Robert, of 705 Whittier St.; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Ann) Rice, Lebo, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
