GARDNER, REV. BRUCE M. Rev. M. Bruce Gardner went to be with his Lord and Savior October 19, 2012. He was born in Albuquerque, N.M. April 14, 1930 to Louise Hannah and Milton B. Gardner. He graduated from Albuquerque High, Hardin-Simmons University and Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Bruce was a Servant of the Lord, pasturing churches in Albuquerque and Gallup, NM, Idaho Falls, Idaho and Provo, UT. He served 17 years with the Southern Baptist Convention Home Mission Board as Director of the Mission Department for Utah & Idaho. Bruce retired in 1995, moving to Bluewater Acres, N.M. His love for people, positive and encouraging personality and dedication to his calling resulted in him touching many lives with the love of Jesus Christ. He was a very loving and encouraging husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed. Bruce is survived by his wife of 60 years, Berniece; Children Jacqui, Keith and Jeana; grandchildren Amber DeLynn Keith of Salt Lake City, UT, Brandt Gardner and Zackarij Gardner of Tennessee, and Skylar Gardner of Thoreau; his brother Paul Gardner of Albuquerque, and many nieces and nephews and friends.
