George Ray Curry
June 20, 1941 - October 20, 2012

Mr. Curry, 71, of Brighton died at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born in Springfield.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Pearl Campbell and Sam Curry; his wife of 37 years, Donna L. Warner Curry; and two brothers, Sam Curry and Virgil Curry.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Smith of Springfield; five other children from previous marriages; and two stepsons, Joe Warner of Battlefield and Richard Warner of Louisiana; one brother, Steve Greek; four sisters, Bernice Gibson, Bertha Westmoreland, Linda Colvard and Barbara Baily; as well as seven grandchildren.

Service: Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield.

He was laid to rest next to his wife, Donna L. Curry, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield.
