Elspeth Jennes' story was portrayed on a television program called "Lt. Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter." What started out being an unbelievable web of intrigue turned out to be a homicide committed by her husband of 14 years and Army retiree, William Jennes.
Elsie's husband plead guilty to the 2nd degree murder of his wife, and was sentenced to 48 years in prison.
He is currently serving his sentence in the Sterling Correctional Facility, approximately 120 miles northeast of Denver, Colorado.
