Helen J. Staggs, 64, RR 1, Hillsdale, died at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 1992, at her residence. She was the mother of Juanita K. Griffin of Mecca.
Born December 9, 1927 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Frederick I. and Frances McMullen England. She married Clyde Staggs who survives. She was a member of Jehovah Witness of Clinton.
Other survivors include two other daughters, Glenda Shillings of Indianapolis and Elizabeth A. Winder of Ponca City, Oklahoma; two brothers, Herman England of Savannah, Georgia and Arnold England of Indianapolis; a sister, Frieda Cantor of Melbourne, Florida; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday at Frist Funeral Home in Clinton with Larry Myers officiating. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
