EMMET BULLOCK DIED TUESDAY MORNING

Snow Hill, Dec. 19. Emmett Mallet Bullock was born October 5, 1889 at Pierpont, South Dakota and died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. I,. Bullock here at .... Tuesday, December 17, 1913 at the age of 24 years, 2 months and 12 days IS years of age and he has made his home in Missouri most of the time since. He was converted when 11 [?] years of age and became a member of the Baptist church. The deceased is survived by his mother and father and two brothers, Shelby of Kansas City, Mo., Harry at home and one sister, Myrtle Bullock who also resides with her parents. Emmett the past four years, since his parents lived in Bennington township has visited here a number of times and with his last illness of six months duration here, has made many friends, who extend the kindest sympathies to the Bullock family....a kind brother and a true friend. He was a member of the Bennington lodge No. K.4. A.O.V.W. The pall bearers were chosen from the lodge members. The funeral was held Thursday, the procession starting from the home at 12 and going to The Methodist church in Bennington where the services were held at l...conducted by Rev. F. H. Osgood, pastor of the Presbyterian church who was assisted by Rev. T. E. Hoon of the Methodist church. The body was shipped from Bennington Friday morning and taken by Mr. and Mrs. Bullock to Raymore, Missouri, for burial beside his grandfather. Shelby Bullock, the brother residing in Kansas City was unable to be here for the funeral but will join his parents at Kansas City and go with them to Raymore. Music was furnished by a choir chosen from both the Methodist and Presbyterian churches.
