Funeral services for Mrs, Carl Ammons, 67, were held Saturday afternoon, Oct. 12, from the Congregational United Church of Christ, with Dr. Gunnar Wikstrom officiating.
Mrs. Ammons passed away Thursday at Alta Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
With Wharton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements,
Serving as casket bearers were; Robert Booth, Dale Sleezer, John Patterson, William McCabe, Lloyd Endereon and Marvin Bengtson.
The former Viola Kast, Mrs. Ammons was born Aug. 26, 1907 in Brush, Colo.
She was united in marriage with Mr. Ammons at Cherokee March 18, 1924. They
farmed in this area.
Mrs. Ammons is survived by her husband, Carl; one son, Max, of Aurelia; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Joyce) Rohrbaugh of Peterson; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
