Railroad circles in Pasco were saddened Thursday to hear of the death of Era K Arbogast, Pasco engineer, late Wednesday evening, at the Tacoma hospital. He had been in ill health for a long time and was operated on for cancer a year ago.
Mr. Arbogast was born August 31, 1876 in Lacygne, Kansas. He came west to Wallula and was married in 1900. He moved to Walla Walla, Dayton and finally came to Pasco in 1936.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Beryl and Clarence, and two daughters, Mrs. Leta Bigelow and Anita Mae of Pasco. Also surviving him are his sister Mrs. John Elliot Corning California, and three brothers, Asa of Walla Walla, and Henry and John of Oregon.
Because Mrs. Arbogast is still in Tacoma, no funeral arrangements have been made as of yet. He is a member of the B of L. F and E.
