Mrs. Lucretia Hollister Stratton, aged eighty-nine years, died Friday at the home of her son, William B. Stratton, in Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Stratton's family name was Buck and she was born in Wasson, town of Glastonbury, Conn. A great part of her married life was passed with her husband, the late Daniel (sic.) Stratton and their family at their home on West Hill, near Elmira Heights. For a time the family resided at 501 W. Water street. The remains will arrive in Elmira to-day at 12:45 p. m. (standard time) over the Lackawanna railroad and will be removed to the F. E. Smith funeral chapel, where friends may call. The funeral will be conducted at Woodlawn chapel, Monday at 11 a. m., the Rev. A. P. Coman of the Oakwood Avenue Methodist church to officiate. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery.
