BROWNSVILLE - Willie Rita Dyer Carter, 85, homemaker, died Friday at Bells Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Carter, the widow of Monte Zuma 'Peck' Carter, leaves a son, Jimmy Dyer Carter of Jackson; three brothers, Ridley Dyer of Attalla, Ala., Glenn Dyer of Garland, Texas, and Thomas Dyer of Torrence, Calif., five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Calvary Baptist Church Fidelis Sunday School Class.
