Funeral of Mrs. Meadimber
A multitude of sympathizing friends assembled at the family residence yesterday to pay the last tribute of respect to Mrs. Margaret, wife of Mr. E. D. Meadimber. The casket was covered with cut flowers, many of them wrought in exquisite designs.
The funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart church. Solemn high mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Judge, who also delivered an affecting address on the exemplary life of the deceased and the necessity of preparation for death. St. Philomena’s choir rendered the musical portion of the mass.
From the church the cortege moved to Holy Sepulcher cemetery, where the remains were laid at rest. The pallbearers were: Messrs. William Bushman, Hugh McCaffrey, Thomas Swift, Thomas Lowery, Owen McCaffrey and T. J. Fitzmorris.
