Arthur C. Epert, age 83, of Syracuse, IN and formerly of Ligonier passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 12:45 am in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 13, 1929 in Ligonier, IN to A. Carlyle and Florence (Jerles) Epert. He married Betty H. Eytcheson January 6, 1950; she preceded him in death in May of 2012.

Arthur had lived in Ligonier until his retirement in 1991 at which time he moved to Lake Wawasee. He retired from Coachmen Industries and was a member of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel & he was also a member of the Ligonier Masonic Lodge #185.

Survivors include three children, Arthur R. (Melanie) Epert of Wawaka, Roxie (Dan) Lyon of Cromwell, IN and Shelly McKee of Syracuse, IN; and five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, a son, James Phillip Epert in 1956; and his parents.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN. A memorial service will then be held in his honor on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 3 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastor Byron Kaiser will officiating.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 31, 2012 from 1-3 PM at Yeager Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Goshen Hospice Care, 1721 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526.
