Reason This Information Is Correct
Former death date of 1848 inconsistent with 1850 Census. He and 2nd wife Margaret were still living in St. Charles, Kane, Illinois as late as June 1850. He likely died there. However, after a lengthy search of their Archives in Geneva, there is no known Death records, Cemetery records, or a Will in the Kane County Archives. Or in the Surrogates Court records in St. Charles. 25 May 2018 by Chris Linderman-Moore
