Rites At Magee Sunday
Mrs. Elizabeth Everett, 77, resident of Jackson for the past nine years, died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at her home, 414 Hamilton street. Her death followed a several months illness.
She formerly made her home at Magee. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Five sons, D. A. Everett, member of a local hardware concern, H. J., C. H. and G. C. Everett of Jackson; G. J. Everett of Goodman; four brothers, Joe Terry, Brookhaven; Louis Terry, Puckett; Sam Terry, Goodlet, Texas; Eugene Terry of Mendenhall; two sisters, Mrs. H. P. Gates, Miss Emma Terry of Mendenhall; two granddaughters, Mrs. S. G. Boyd, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Ralph Harvey, Brookhaven, survive. One grandson, D. A., Jr., Jackson, and two great grandsons, Gary Boyd and Charles Ralph Harvey of Brandon, also survive.
Brief funeral services will be held at 1:30 this afternoon from the Baldwin Funeral chapel. Regular services will follow at the Magee Baptist church at 3 o'clock with the Rev. W.A. Hewitt, pastor of the First Baptist church, and the Rev. W. A. Hall, pastor of the Power Memorial Presbyterian church, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Magee cemetery.
