"Mariana (Anita) Lopez passed away in Tucson, AZ on November 26, 2009.

Mariana was born in Naco Sonora on August 8, 1921. She was married to Adolfo for 60 years.

She is survived by her sons; Manuel, Adolfo, Victor, Jose, David, Tony and Jesus Lopez. Daughters: Irma Contreras, Gloria Armenta, Martha Salazar and Sonia Aguilar. Brothers: Reynoldo Romo, and Francisco Romo. Sister Maria Jesus Sepulveda. Maria is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 28 Great-grandchildren.

Mariana was a housewife all of her life and took joy in taking care of her family and cooking for them, she loved to travel, was involved in the church, and sang in the choir. Mariana was devoted to the Virgin of Guadalupe. She was always the fun loving person that everyone loved to be around.

Pallbearers: Manuel Lopez, Victor Lopez, Jose Lopez, David Lopez, Tony Lopez and Jesus Lopez.

Honorary Pallbearers: Ramon Contreras, Christopher Lopez, Tony Lopez, Rene Salazar, David Salazar, Michael Lopez.

Rosary was held December 1, 2009, Mass will be on December 2, 2009 at St. Lukes Church at 10:30a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery."
