Farmer, head of household, white, male, age 45, married, farmer, he, his parents and all his family and their parents were born in Kentucky; Margaret J. Farmer, wife, white, female, age 35, married, keeping house; Mary Alice Farmer, daughter, white, female, age 12, single. at home; Annie Farmer, daughter, white, female, age 7, single; Lucy E. Farmer, daughter, white, female, age 7, single; and Ed. F. Farmer, son, white, male, age 3.

His death certificate #14609 says he was born to James Farmer in KY and that he died in Voting Precinct #7, in Marion Co., KY of a complication of diseases and old age, (88 years, three months and 11 days) and was signed by Dr. C. E. Murlley(?), Finley, KY. The informant was E. F. Farmer, Finley, KY who said he was a married man. The firm of Bosley and Smith, Lebanon, KY, was his undertaker. He was buried in the new Market Presbyterian Cemetery on May 14, 1920. His tombstone gave no dates but said: his name and CIVIL WAR COMPANY H 6TH KY CAV.
