Corporal Halvey US ARMY was a passenger on-board US NAVY NATS flight aircraft# 131612. The aircraft was a R6D1 (DC 6) type. While, making an approach to Hickham AFB, Hawaii at 0216 AM in the morning from the west. The aircraft impacted "PaliKea" mountain just ouitside US Naval Magazine, Naval Ammunition Depot NAD (Oahu), Lualualei. No survivors were noted. His home of record was Chicago, Illinois and survived by his parents Mr & Mrs Edward & Mary Halvey of Chicago.
