The daughter of Clayton and Kathlyn (Wheeler) Rowley, she was born on January 17, 1948, at Liberal , Kan. DeAnn was raised in Hooker, Oklahoma and attended the Hooker school system, graduating with the Class of 1966. She attended college at Oklahoma Panhandle State University at Goodwell.
She was married to Jerry Lynn Adelman. DeAnn moved to Guymon from Perryton, Texas in 1973. She was a member of the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church. She was employed with Panhandle Telephone as benefits coordinator.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clayton Rowley, and her grandparents, Skinny and Bert Rowley.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela and David Black of Johnson, Kan.; a son, Shandy Adelman and wife, Heather of Guymon; her mother, Kathlyn Rowley of Hooker; a brother, Danny Rowley and his wife, Linda, of Cottonwood, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Jenna Black and Jackson Adelman.
Services will be conducted Monday afternoon,November 10th at 2 p.m. from Victory Memorial United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Chaffin, pastor, and the Rev. Stan Lehnert, pastor of Turpin Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
The family requests memorials be to Guymon Home Health and Hospice or Victory Memorial United Methodist Church, and will be accepted at BunchRoberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Okla., 73942.
