He made his screen debut in "Your Best Friend" (1922) and then went on to became a familiar figure in everything from cowboy to gangster and sci-fi movies. Among his credits are, "Hollywood Hoodlum" (1934), "Water Rustlers" (1939), "Wonders of the West" (1941), "Son of Zorro" (1947), "The Invisible Monster" (1950) and "Perils of the Wilderness" (1956). He died of a heart attack at age 62 in Garden Grove, California.
