IRVIN, ANNIE ELIZABETH (Nee Kilner)

Funeral for Mrs. Irvin, recently of Hamilton, took place on Tuesday, August 30 at 2 from Hendricks Funeral Home in Mount Forest. In her 104th year, Mrs. Irvin, formerly of Puslinch, died on Saturday, August 27, 1983 at St. Peter's Centre in Hamilton. She graduated from the Fergus Nursing School under Dr. Abraham Groves in 1906 and pioneered nursing for many years in South Waterloo and Grey Counties. Predeceased by her husband, Richard in 1948. Surviving are sons, John of Hamilton; Dr. Brown Irvin of Cambridge; and daughter, Mrs. Margaret King of Rochester, NY. There are also two step-daughters, Mrs. Daisy Peacock of Gormley and Mrs. Doris Bell of Toronto. Two step-sons predeceased her, Arthur of Holstein and Lindsay of Broken Bow, Nebraska. Interment Holstein Cemetery.
