Mr. Linvard H. Durham, 86, Ferguson, Ky., passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at Britthaven of Somerset.

He was born in West Somerset on Nov. 18, 1920, to the late Norman and Neva McPheron Durham. Linvard was a wonderful, loving person and a rock that was always there for each and every member of his family. He was a member of the Pitman Creek Baptist Church. Linvard was an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by two sisters, Helen Galloway, Erlanger, Ky., and Geneva Durham, Ferguson, Ky.; and one brother, Albert Durham, Somerset.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Durham; and two sisters, Faye Nix and May Durham.

Funeral services for Mr. Linvard H. Durham will be held on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Bro. David Muse officiating. Internment will follow in West Somerset Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
