"Nitch-George L., [Leo] 82, Moxham, died May 28, 1996, at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 21, 1913, in Johnstown, son of George A., and Annie G. (O'Connor) Nitch. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Mary E. Abele; brothers, Albert and Francis; infant sister, Mary; and sisters, Dorothy Flynn and Margaret (Coll) Flynn. Survived by daughters: Marylee, Moxham, and Patricia, wife of Barry Roberts, Jennerstown; grandchildren Paula, Kerri and Barry Roberts; brother, Claude W., and Sister Anna Ruth Skamla, both of Johnstown; and many nieces and nephews. World War II Army veteran who served during the Battle of the Bulge Recipient of the Bronze Star. Retired letter carrier. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and National Association of Retired Letter Carriers. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday at Moskal and Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, where wake services will be held Thursday evening. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM Friday from St. Patrick Church, Father Harold N. Biller celebrant. Interment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Graveside Military Rite by VFW Post 155 Ritual Team."
