Age 75 of Little Sioux, IA. Dave was born in Onawa, IA to Francis and Adaline (Thompson) Thomas. He attended school until his junior year in High School at which time he started farming with his dad. Dave and Myrna "MJ" Wiltfong were united in marriage on April 18, 1959 at Yankton, SD. To this union 5 children were born. Dave was a lifelong farmer and resident of Little Sioux. He retired from farming in 2005. Dave enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing, watching wildlife, and was state champion tractor puller. He built a beautiful house on a hill for his family. Dave and Myrna enjoyed wintering in Texas. Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Myrna "MJ"; daughter Kathy Hrabik; daughter Linda Bender; son, Davey and wife Brenda Thomas; daughter, Tricia and husband Jeremy Jensen; son, Steve and wife Jennifer Thomas; grandchildren, Ben, Ashley, Matt and wife Lacey, Megan, Josh and wife Jill, Mandi and husband Jake, Jon, Maggie, Zachary, Joseph, Joslynn, Grace, and Hannah; great grandchildren, Ashton, Avari, Madison, Layne, and Hadley; mother-in-law, Edna Wiltfong; 2 sisters, Mary and husband Lyle King, and Judy and husband Roger Totten; 1 brother, Frank Thomas; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Johnny Thomas.
