Richard E. "Dick" Jones, age 63, of Columbia, died peacefully, Thursday, October 25, 2012, at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Enola, he was the son of the late Phillip and Dorothy Witmer Jones. Dick was the husband of Judith Ann Brown Jones; they were married January 22, 1999. He retired from the Armstrong Marietta Ceiling Plant. Dick was a member of the Foresters of America, Columbia and the Susquehanna Fire Company "Hambones", Columbia. He enjoyed Steelers Football, Phillies Baseball, and NASCASR, especially Rusty Wallace. Dick loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by his children: Richard E. II husband of Melissa A. Jones of Columbia; Phillip R. Jones of Mount Joy; David H. Kline, Jr. of Ephrata; Lisa A. wife of Bruce P. Heath of Grove City, OH, his sisters: Dorothy wife of Ronald Magaro of Enola; Geraldine Bornman of Shermans Dale, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
