PICAYUNE – Homer Spiers, 79, Route 6, Picayune, died Monday in Picayune.
The funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Picayune, followed by burial in the Liberty Cemetery.
Mr. Spiers is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vera Spiers of Picayune; two sons, Daniel Spiers of Ozona and James Spiers of Birmingham, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Jarvis and Mrs. Myrna Ree Dyle, both of Picayune; three brothers, Oakland Spiers of Atlanta, Ga., Midas Spiers of Long Beach and Leamon Spiers of Picayune; three sisters, Mrs. Kelly Jones of Henleyfield, Mrs. Temple Dockstader and Mrs. Letha Neal, both of Picayune; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great0grandchildren.
