A father and daughter from Buford, Geoergia died last night in a Gwinnett County traffic accident. Scott Brian Guthrie, 26, and his daughter, Amanda Gail Guthrie, 3, both died after a Volkswagen Beetle they were traveling in struck the rear of a tractor-trailer rig that was parked on the shoulder of the road, police said. The accident occurred aaat about 5:45 P.M., in the northbound lane of I-85, near Georgia 316. Police said it was raining heavily when Guthrie lost control and slid into the rear of the tractor-trailer.
