Her parents' names are given as Dorkis Youst and Warnton Williams, in her death records. Mennerva Williams, 10, is listed in 1850 in Richland, Ohio, with parents Darcus, 39, and Warrington Williams, 51, and siblings Martha, 13, Nancy, 8, Levinah, 6, and Joel Williams, 2.

Minerva's adopted son, Robert Browning Lebeyher, was born in Short Creek, West Virginia, on January 27, 1889, and continued to live with her in Triadelphia, Ohio County, West Virginia, through at least 1910. Also living with Minerva and Robert in 1900 was Minerva's brother, Joel Williams, born in Ohio in May 1850. On his WW I Draft Registration Card, Robert listed his mother as his closest relative. Robert was living in Triadelphia in 1940, and died on January 17, 1977.

Minerva's name is given as Levinia Williams Lebeyher in the West Virginia Deaths Index. She died April 8, 1926, and was buried in Stone Church Cemetery on April 11, 1926.
