OBITUARY NOTICE: Harry Beardsley, a former resident of Elmira died Friday morning, the 3rd of March at the home of his mother, Mrs. Etta Beardsley in Corning, aged 19 years. He is survived by his mother, three sisters, Helen, Martha and Gladys, three brothers, Lawrence, Fred and Laverne, all at home.The family formerly resided on Grant street in Elmira. The remains were removed to the Davis Undertaking rooms in Elmira where the funeral took place Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. He was well known around Catharine where he worked for some time on the G. W. Hoffman farm and was a member of the Highland Grange.
