Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Chapel with Tim Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Emma was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Altus, Okla., to Lony and Maud Bull. She moved from Crawford, Okla., to the Perryton area in 1930. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1940, and met Clyde Carroll of Drumright, Okla., while he was harvesting wheat in the Texas Panhandle. They married on Aug. 29, 1940.
Emma was a member of First Christian Church in Perryton, a charter member of Gray Happy Helpers Home Demonstration Club and a Ochiltree Senior Citizens Center board member. She loved oil painting, traveling and swimming with friends at Perryton Activity Center. She was a homemaker, farm wife, an outstanding mother and Dust Bowl survivor.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Carroll and wife Jolene of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dennis Carroll and wife Marita of Georgetown; six grandchildren and their spouses, Kelly and Brandi Carroll of Killeen, Kristin and Marc Lauermann and Courtney and Brennan Dodson, all of Bozeman, Mont., Leslie Carroll of Tulsa, Okla., Konrad and Karen Carroll of Lubbock and Kameron and Josh Luongo of Austin; 10 great-grandchildren, Cooper, Hadley, Cate, Jackson, Benson, Savannah, Kara, Bodi, Ranger and Lance; and a brother, Weldon Bull of Perryton.
The family suggests memorials be to Ochiltree County Senior Citizens Association, P.O. Box 738, Perryton, TX 79070; Perryton Activity Center, 1201 S.W. 15th Ave., Perryton, TX 79070; or a favorite charity.
