Harold "Gene" Robbins was a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Robertsdale, Alabama. He passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the age of 81. Mr. Robbins retired from the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a faithful member of the American Legion. Mr. Robbins enjoyed watching Alabama College Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball and Dallas Cowboys Professional Football. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death include his wife, Jody Robbins and three step sons, Kenneth Burton, Richard Burton and James Busch. He is survived by his daughter, Sylvia (Scott) Shealy; step son, Rodney (Kim) Busch and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hail Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale, Alabama. A visitation will be held Thursday prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the W.F. Green State Veterans Home, 300 Faulkner Drive, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
