Arthur Frey, retired dairyman of Taneytown, died at the Hanover Hospital at two o'clock Saturday morning, aged 65. He was the son of the late Samuel and Ann Souders Frey. His wife, Mrs. Lena Otto Frey predeceased him several years ago. Mr. Frey had been a patient at the hospital for only a few days after being stricken with paralysis.
He was formerly a resident of Baltimore and had resided in Taneytown for the past three years making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Milton Shafer.
Surviving Mr. Frey are three daughters, Mrs. Shafer, Mrs. Gardner Bridge of Washington and Mrs. Harry Cockerell of Relay; two sons, Carol O. and A. Page Frey, both of Baltimore, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Fuss Funeral Home in Taneytown with Rev. Glenn L. Stahl officiating. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg. C.O. Fuss and Son, funeral director.
