Obituary from Anniston Star; Mrs. Susan E. Aiken-Mrs. Susan Ella Aiken, 77, of Ohatchee, Route 2, died Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock at Anniston Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at the Ohatchee Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Revs. Herman Tarpley and A.G. Turner officiating. The body will lie at Usrey Chapel until one and half hours before the services.

Burial will be in the Ohatchee cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, John E. Aiken; three sons, Charlie E. of Birmingham, Arnold of East Point, Georgia; and Eugene Aiken of Gainesville, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Addie Hanvey of Anniston and Mrs. Deview Johnston of Ohatchee; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Bennett of San Francisco, California; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Theron Williams, Byad Dodgen, William Macon, Fred Laney, Jack Howard and Sam Howard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Goode, Marvin Poole, Hardy Lee, Earl Morrison, Travis Connor, John Winn, Raymond Martin, and A.P. Parton, Sr.

Mrs. Aiken was a lifetime resident of Ohatchee, and she was an active member of the Ohatchee Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Mary Ruth Rebekah Lodge.
