EMMA RUTH CULL

Emma passed away peacefully at home with family members present on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her parents, Perry Stokes in 1964 and Alice Stokes in 1993; husband William (Harry) Cull in 1979; a grandson Perry Cull in 1969; and her brother Elmer Stokes in 1985. Emma is survived by three sons, Harvey and Edward, both of Regina, Lloyd, San Diego, CA; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Cozac, Cochrane, AB and Mrs. Rosalee Conley, San Diego, CA; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; niece Mrs. Bonnie Camirand, Winnipeg, MB. Emma, affectionately nicknamed "Babe Ruth," moved from Regina to San Diego in 1969 where she worked in real estate until retiring. Prior to 1969, Emma lived and worked in Regina and owned a wheat farm with her husband Harry near Ceylon-Hardy area. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Donations in memory of Emma may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, 57K 2H8.
