Ohatchee-Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Clements, 102, of Ohatchee will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Ohatchee Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Jones and Rev. Sammy Legon officiating and Gray Brown Service Mortuary & Crematory in charge. Burial will follow at Ohatchee Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. this afternoon at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clements died Friday, November 25, 2005, at her residence.

Mrs. Iva Clements passed away just a few days before her birthday; she would have been 103. She was the oldest resident of Ohatchee and the Ohatchee United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker for many years. She also worked as a caregiver both as a private duty nurse and at Anniston Nursing Home. She also dressed for the first time, many newborns in the area as she assisted the doctor in delivering the babies.

Survivors include her daughter, Marian Pardee, and her husband, Larry, of Ohatchee; three sons, Julian Clements, of Bynum, Alvis Clements, his wife, Bonnie, of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Allen Clements, his wife, Ann, of Gulfport, MS; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Clements was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Clements, daughter-in-law, Dottie Clements; grandson, Ricky Clements; great-granddaughter, Christy Clements; three sisters and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Shorty Griffin, Raymond Griffin, Jimmy Griffin, Larry Clements, Brian Clements, and Chad Clements.

Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home.
