He was born on June 17, 1929 in Reeds Springs Mo. the son of Alex and Elsie Back.
He served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, earning a Bronze Star.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Anna Back, two daughters, Josephine Ann Bilyeu and husband Bobby Jack of Reeds Spring, and Mary Ann Lowrance and husband Derek of Springfield, agranddaughter Bailey Ann Lowrance, three sisters, Wanda Fraizer, Barbara Whitely, Geraldine Perkins and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services for Donnie Back will be 2p.m. Monday October 29, 2012 at Yocum Pond Cemetery with Joe Wolven officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home Branson.
