Betty Ruth Wallace Boston, 79, of Oberlin, Ohio, died Monday Aug. 21, 2012, at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin.
Born Aug. 9, 1933, in Dorton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Ferrell and Dorothy Matilda Ellen "Mae" Horne Wallace.
She was a retired nurse, homemaker, and she attended the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed travel, gardening, chatting with friends and family, and caring for her cat "Miss Kitty".
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Alexander Virgil Boston, Jr.; two brothers, Carl Eugene Wallace and Edward Dale Wallace; and a nephew, Carl Keith Wallace.
She is survived by a brother, John Glenn Wallace; four nephews, and a niece.
There was no visitation. Private graveside services were held Aug. 23 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, in Avon.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cowling Funeral Home, Oberlin.
