Sophie Katz, 94, of Kansas City, MO, died Sunday, February 3, 2002, at Bridgewood Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, at Sheffield Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, family suggests contributions to charity of choice. Mrs. Katz is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stanford and Donna Katz, Kansas City, MO; brother, Jimmy Vilinsky, Overland Park, KS; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
