Mr Swayze Caruthers, one of the best known and most popular young business men of the city, died early Sunday morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. S. E. Caruthers, in Lintonia. The remains were taken to the family burying ground in the eastern part of the county, and there interred Monday.
The deceased was but 33 years of age, and his death is sad, and to those who mourn because of it, the Herald's tender its deepest sympathy.
