R. W. Dutch Senn Sr.
ODESSA R. W. Dutch Senn Sr., 71, passed away Friday, June 13, 2003, at St. Lukes Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was born November 9, 1931, to Alvin Lee and Alma W. Senn in Haskell, Texas.

Dutch served in the U.S. Air Force and fought in the Korean Conflict.

He married Berndean Martin on April 23, 1976, in Odessa, she preceded him in death. He worked for G.Q. Salmon & Son Trucking Co. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he was a door greeter, a volunteer in the Church Food Bank, assisted cooking for youth groups and a member of the Booster Sunday School Class and church choir. He was involved in the mission work in Presidio and
participated in youth mission trips. He served as president of the West Texas Singles Association. He was an active member in the N.R.A.

He loved to travel and dance. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. He was active in the Texas National Guard and formerly a mail carrier in Lamesa. He raised 10 children.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2003, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Donnie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

His wife and his parents preceded him in death.
Surviviors include his sons, Royce Wayne Senn Jr. of Kermit, Wes and Joe Senn and Jim Marsh, all of Odessa, and David Martin of Houston; sister, Jo Ann Eason of Stephenville, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the F.U.M.C. Presidio Mission in Ojinaga, Mexico. Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
