She was born March 1, 1908, in Au Sable Forks, the daughter of Martin and Catherine (Keyes) Ryan.
Mrs. Rougeau was a housewife, a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Au Sable Forks Fire Department.
Survivors included two sons and a daughter-in-law, Alfred "Butch" and Rita Rougeau and Richard Rougeau, both of Au Sable Forks; four grandchildren; a sister, Gertrude Scheuer of Delansen; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Henry Rougeau and a daughter, Lenore Dillard, died before her.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 9, 1998 at 10:10 a.m. at the Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home in Au Sable Forks. Burial followed in the Holy Name Cemetery.
